There are a lot of plants out there that could work in your tank. What are your plans for lighting and how deep is your tank?

Nah I don't know about god and plants, they try to steer us away from religious debates on these forums

Anywho some godd plants as you put it, without even knowing your lighting conditions, would be anubias, java fern, java moss, and possibly crypt plants. These are a safe bet because they are low light, sturdy plants. If you give us your conditions like wings asked for, we'll be able to give you a better list.

Hi,
Welcome to FP!
You missed the point of the question. You were asked
what you have on the tank for a light. Is it flourscent
or incandescent? What wattage is the light? Is it 40 watts
or 10 watts or what?

For "us" to make suggestions about plants that will thrive
in your tank, those answers are things we would need
to know.

In general, plants are divided into several categories:
High, Medium, and Low light demand, Fast, and slow
growers, Rooted, and floating, are just some of the
various categories.

Because there are so many choices available, even for those
with "limited" finances, the readers here would like to
know more about your tank before they make "blind" answers.

Java Moss can be a fine plant, it is a slow grower, and
is usually grown attached to a piece of driftwood or even
some rocks. Weather or not it would thrive in your tank
depends upon your light, and possibly the depth of your
tank.

Incandescent lighting isn't great for plants. Some can live under it, but I wouldn't recommend it. I'd buy a screw in compact flourescent bulb with a Kelvin or K rating of 6500.

I guess I should have said some plants can survive under it. It's really not good for plants though. I'd grab a couple screw in compact flourescent bulbs like I mentioned above, they will be much beter for your plants. It won't be that expensive. If your tank is 125 gallons(i just now converted liters to gallons) you'll want more than one screw in compact flourescent. I'd aim for at leats 80ish watts of flourescent lighting bare minimum for low light plants, more if you want medium or high light plants. I'd look into getting a couple flourescent strip lights or something.
