	Any plant ideas for an Asian river biotope tank...
Rob1619 Fish Addict Posts: 763 Kudos: 619 Votes: 626 Registered: 01-Sep-2004	Hey! Iam soon getting a 125g tank that i will make to be an Asian river biotope. I dont want a lot of plants but i was thinking of some few hardy plants that can tolerate good water flow,any ideas? Robby I know human beings and fish can co-exist peacefully.

NowherMan6 Fish Master Posts: 1880 Kudos: 922 Votes: 69 Registered: 21-Jun-2004	A 125 is big, go for some big crypts like balansae and spiralis. They're tall, with long green leaves and they'll flow nicely in the current when full grown. Like all crypts don't expect miracles right away. When you get them they'll be small and will take a while to settle in and put out those giant leaves. *Back in the saddle!*

I will have plenty of river stones and red kind of gravel and will also leave an exposed sandy earea. Java fern and moss i will definately have..thanks.
