They are little banana-like things, and i heard that they grow big, and dont need too much light. Anyone here have these? I heard that propogation is easy be cutting off the floating leaves. Did anyone try? Thanks a million! ><> ~=!Vote Today!=~ <>< -----> View My Dragons <----- |

This will shade out other plants though, so be careful there. I'd still recommend over 1wpg of fluorescent light for them. They probably aren't too fussy about ferts, but I'd at least have the macros there....NO3 and PO4. I think you are right about the propagation of these. the leaves with some stalk seem to re-root. I have seen some leaves reach a pretty decent size though, maybe 3-4 inches in diameter, which I guess isn't too big. Critical Fertilator: The Micromanager of Macronutrients |

I just wanted to make sure that what i got was allowed for use, as this would be my "other" main focus in the new hex tank. ><> ~=!Vote Today!=~ <>< -----> View My Dragons <----- |

I did not notice any requirement for additional nutrients as this plant was in a breeder tank with little substrat and without fertilizer. Just don't cover the banana like structures in the gravel. |
