My first question is, Why do you have salt in the water?
Most plants wont tolerate much salt.

What fish do you have?
What plants do you have?
Some plants that will tolerate salt are Anubias spp., Java ferns(Microsorum spp.). There are a few others, but only a few.

I may be wrong on this but I think there are a few species of Vals that can do alright with a little salt in the water... but for the most part it's a hinderence to growth... and survival.

I believe some plants will tolerate a small amount of salt but the majority will not.

What plants do you have, and what is your purpose for using the Aquarium Salt.

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info
