Would I be able to grow most plants in brackish water?

Im looking to have a 6 gallon tank with a couple of bumblebee gobys in it.

I'd like suggestions on ground cover plants and whether pennywart would live in brackish conditions.

If not, please give suggestions on what plants I can use.

Hi,
Go to this site: http://www.azgardens.com/habitats_brackish.php

There you will find, listed and with pictures, plants
that will live in brackish water. You can either purchase
from them as a package, or write down the plant names
and search locally for them. Pay attention to their
names and double check to see if they are low, medium,
or high light demand plants, and stick with only those
that will live with your light (watts/gallon).

I've had good success with Java fern and Anubias. Hornwort also did reasonably well in brackish conditions when I had one set up - used for Mollies. You will def. be safe with Java fern and Anubias.

I've tried glosso in brackish. Despite what has been stated, they aren't really great in brackish conditions. They end up growing straight and branching, and leaves turn light green, as opposed to the preferred deep green carpetting effect it has under optimal conditions. I've personally been successful with:

Hygro polysperma
Dwarf Hairgrass
Java fern/moss
bacopa carolinia

I've kept Anacharis (Elodea) in a brackish Molly tank, and it went nuts. I've never had it grow so fast.

Thanks for your replys!

chainsword will do ok?

Im looking to keep the plants small they will be going into a tank that would be about 10 inches tall. Im not particularly interested in anubias because of their amazing ability to draw hair algae.

I have elodia in the other tank here and am forever triming it back.
