Ok pics of pics. Not easy.

First one is either Hygrophilia Augustifolia or Compacta Siamensis. Hard to tell without a closer look at the leaves. Pic below of my Augustifolia.

Second. At first glance looks like Rotala Indica but too orange. Possibly Ammania but leaves look a bit narrow. Needle Leaf Ludwigia is another possibility.

Third looks like Tennellus to me. Definately one of the small swords.

I couldn't tell you off the top of my head what the first picture is. The second pic, however, is rather hard to tell, as it's actually the roots of the plant!! The third looks like a pygmy chain, but the leaves are a bit broad and the laeves point too far upwards (perhaps just as a result of lower light) for e. tellenus. It's definitely a pygmy sword, though.

Alex,

The text of the second picture indicates that it is the roots for a philodendra. The common household plant may be rooted in the aquarium by suspending its stem in the water. New roots will form. The plant does an excellent job of absorbing ammonia, nitrites and nitrates.
