OK thank you for the tip, i actually like small gravel better. I would especially like to use sand, but i dont know much on how to clean it or how plants do in them.

If you know anything about using sand in a planted tank please let me know!

It is as stated a sand substrate planted tank, look through and don't be shy about asking questions.

I read the log and the sand looks very good, i think that i am going to try it. I am going to do a little more reading, then i plan to put sand in a 10-20 gal.
