However, if you want to trim it, you can simply use a pair of sharp scissors and snip the leaf to the length you want it at. I generally make a diagonal cut. shrugs Not about propogation though... maybe someone else knows? ~Meow. Thus spoke the cat.~

illustrae Fish Addict Posts: 820 Kudos: 876 Registered: 04-May-2005	crinums are such a cool plant! To trim leaves, just snip them off like grass (but make sure you leave at least 6+ inches of leaf). Unfortunately, you can't propagate these yourself, you have to wait for the bulb to produce babies--little bulbettes. In good conditions, you should be able to get a few baby bulbsready to be separated from the mother plant in a couple of months. Hoping that there must be a word for everything I mean...
