I'm a newbie, and I apologize if this has been discussed already at some point... can someone give me a walkthrough on a DIY co2 system?

Hi,
Please don't appologize for asking what you think might
be a poor, or frequently asked question. It keeps the
old timers sharp remembering the answers, and helps all
sorts of folks who wondered, but did not ask.

Here are three sites that will tell you everything you
want to know.

http://www.thekrib.com/Plants/CO2/co2-narten.html
http://www.littlefishtank.com/articles/article.asp?catid=7&artid=2
http://www.sydneycichlid.com/diy/diyyeast.html

Generally speaking 30 gal. aquarium is about as large
a tank as you want to use DIY CO2 injection on.
Any larger and you need to have several bottles running
at the same the to make a difference, and then it can
become a chore, instead of fun.

Hope this helps

Frank

Then that'll be great! I'm wanting to use it for a 30 gallon high aquarium. Thanks very much for the links!
