	Dealing With Java Fern Babies

sham Ultimate Fish Guru Posts: 3369 Kudos: 2782 Votes: 98 Registered: 21-Apr-2004	Throw them in the 10g with a sponge filter or no filter untill they grow. Then just move them to where they fit. If I pull something off the filter more than 5 or 6 times I end up throwing it.

Falstaf Fish Addict Posts: 785 Kudos: 1211 Votes: 196 Registered: 12-Feb-2004	Hi Babel, What has worked for me, is i take the babies from themother plant before they can get free, usually just rubbing them apart is more than enough, then just move them into another tank, i used a floating maternity to keep them out of the intakes, and has worked well enough.
