My 55 gallon tank was just recently heavily planted. It has 2.4 wpg. I bought Seachems's Flourish today. I was told to get : Flourish, Excel, Nitrogen and Phosphorus. I was planning on getting all four but the LFS only had Flourish. I may be able to find the others at anothe LFS but my question was if Ican go ahead and start dosing with the flourish or if I should wait until I have all four. If I do start using just this one will it create and algae problem? Also is there any reccomendations as to how much I should dose? Otherwise I will just do as the directions say. Thanks!

You can just use the Flourish, and as far as dosing goes use the directions.

I decided to go ahead and just go with the Flourish and Excel. Thanks for the reply Logan!

I use Seachem ferts, Excel, Potassium, and Nitrogen, in my Betta tank. I buy on line in Aust it is far cheaper.

To calculate the correct amount to use I had a good water peramiters done and sent them to Seachem then replied with the correct amounts to use and several months later I went through the same process and Seachem made a few minor adjustments and every thing is working out perfectly, I also use their Fert Tabs.

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info
