Just be sure that it is a quality one made of slintered glass. That provides the smallest bubbles. Then provide a current within the tank that is not great enough to disturb the surface, but is enough to "blow" the tiny bubbles around the tank delaying their rise to the surface. THE KEY to CO2 injection is to keep the water in contact with the gas for as long as possible. Keeping the bubbles within the tank and away from the surface where they would eventually burst is essential. In a properly functioning reactor, the gas goes in the top, along with the water, and only "super charged" water comes out the bottom. No gas should exit the bottom of the reactor, it all gets absorbed. I use a reactor, very much like the one shown, but frankly it's ugly and I want to replace it with one that is external. That will mean that I have to replumb the tank.
