i bought a package of 5 aponogeton bulbs. im wondering what kind of plants they are. on the back of the package it told me to plant the bulbs and watch them grow in just 15 days, but i want to know what kind of plants they are. if you can post a picture of these plants that will be great! i want to see how they are going to look like...cant wait 15 days lol

these plants are terrific and easy to grow, i bought packages form walmart, have had them in my aquarium with very much success. sorry, i have no pics.

what kind of lighing do they need? a lot of light or little light. the package didnt say anything about that and would i need to fertilize?

i use a reguler florecent bulb, nothing special. i fertilize the plants once a month with a little liquid plant fertilizer made for aquariums. i have not done much with the plants, but they seem to be doing fine.

I managed to copy this for you from a Plant book

As you can see a lot more info is required I have several photos/drawings but I would require more details.

If you do GOOGLE Search it might help after the plants have grown a bit.

I have Apons in my tanks, all started as bulbs. I have between 2-3 WPG on my tanks, and with in 2 weeks, they had hit the water line. I have actually had to remove several, and trim them, as they take over the top of my tank!
