Hello all. Last Friday night, i was lucky enough to get a hold on some of this stuff. I got 8 stems with alot of offshoots for only $2.00. I have 1&1/4 watts of light with eco complete substrate for the planted aquarium and a small CO2 system. Will it do fine. Is there anything else i should know?

Hygro polysperma is considered a weed in many states. Let it settle in your tank and you'll soon see why. It grows like crazy, make sure to keep it in check.

It certainly can get out of hand keep tip pruning it and it will thicken up. If the lower leaves can not get sufficient light it can/will loose all its lower leaves and look very stringy plant.

Have a look in [link=My Profile]http://

I live in N.E.Ohio,and can't find this plant.I would like to add some to my planted tank to outcompete hair algae. Is there anyone who has some that I can buy without the high rate of shipping that plant supplers charge?I can't see paying 5 to 10 dollars to ship a 2 dollar plant.
