During these few weeks after I have added a co2 system and the ferts, it seems what my Java Ferns have roots growing on the end of the leaves and tiny leave-like objects are stuck to them.

What do you guys think?

Yep, you got babies!!! Let them grow iuntil they're about an inch long, then you can easily detach them and ket them grow on their own. I didn't attache mine to rock until they were about two inches long. If they're coming up because you added CO2, you'll probably see a bunch of them.

When I was growing Java Fern I would let them grow about 1ins+ break them off let them float for a while then attach to a rock or a piece of DW.

I remove them from the tank once they're freefloating if they refuse to stay wedged down in roots or rocks. I dont like using ties on them till they're a bit older since I've had a few get cut in half :%). I've got a bunch floating around in a spare 5 gallon...I hate having them in the main tank where they always end up clogging the intake.

I never let mine free-float. When I detached them, or they detached themselves, I lightly wrapped thread around them and made a small Java garland at the other end of the tank, kept them out of the filter. Just make sure to wrap LIGHTLY and around the stems, not between, and they should be fine.
