Hi again, Java moss is usually purchased through LFS, I am in Australia and sometimes it seems you see it everywhere and then other times its really hard to come by.

Perhaps you could ring around a few shops and see if they have any, or maybe you could source some from someone on FP.

Good luck

My Petco has been getting nice clumps in lately. I f you live near ThatFishPlace in Centerville(near Lancaster) you can get it there cheap and in good quality/quantity. You could also order it only from there.
-This is definitely a wanted plant. It looks nice, likes low light, undemanding, good for breeding and serves as a shelter for baby fish.
-I have seen on some websites who claim that it is rare and they slap a high price on it or give you very little of it.

I would ask any privately owned fish store if they could get some for you. I think most could, it is not uncommon.

You can find java moss and similar mosses (tiawan moss, christmas moss, peacock moss, willow moss, etc.) on Aquabid.com. You can often get large amounts of it for very cheap. In general I have had very good luck buying fish and plants from sellers on Aquabid. Just make sure to read the feedback of each seller, ask questions before the end of the auctions, and confirm with the seller after you win an auction the final total price including shipping, and have them confirm their paypal address or confirm whatever payment method you're using.

Hoping that there must be a word for everything I mean...
