It's a great study in miniaturization! IME java plantlets take forever and a few years to grow up...however it's also ME that java just loves co2. Yup! that's right CO2! Even though it's a low light plant, supplimenting CO2 (not in the little betta jars obviously) speeds up their growth considerably. ^_^ [hr width='40%'] It only hurts when I breathe" ![]() |

Question as well will the desk lamp be sufficient/correct light to give the plant growth? Like the new Avatar now I know what it is this time. Keith ![]() ![]() Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do. I VOTE DO YOU if not WHY NOT? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I'm at the end of my fundage, so this is temporary. Perhaps by the time I have a new job (and money), these java ferns will have grown up a bit. ![]() I've got java moss, too, but those are REALLY tiny bits of wood. I mean, they range from 2" to 4" long and the longest one is maybe 1/4" wide. I've got another piece soaking that I could use, maybe. Depends on what size tank I get to make this up in the future. I've got spare one gallon tanks. *shrugs* Don't think the bigger piece of driftwood would fit in those, though. *shrugs* ~Meow. Thus spoke the cat.~ |
