Java moss... | |
reun Big Fish Posts: 332 Kudos: 216 Registered: 04-Nov-2005 | Is there any way to get java moss to anchor itself? I use pebbles to keep it in place, but if i stick it to some driftwood using anchors or string, will it actually grow to the drift wood or does this stuff ever anchor itself? |

I don't know what your lighting situation is, so I assume it low. Make sure you tie it down good, maybe use a cross or star pattern or even like a net. Tie down good or it will breakup. Tie to DW,slate rock or even a plastic planting disk and wait. Mine attached better where the string holds it in place and I use all nature thread so the it would just rot away, and others use fishing string because of the time it takes to attach. That's all you can do, other than what you normally do to maintain you tank. Djrichie "Don't Panic" Djrichie "So Long, and Thanks For All The Fish" Douglas Adams |
