Hello everyone, just a small question:
What kinds of plants would do fine in a 20g tall with 1.5wpg and no CO2. Also, these plants need to be easy to find in a big chain store like Petco or Petsmart.
Thanks,
~Morgan

Some good plants for low light are any crypt species, any anubias(preferably nana or coffefolia because they stay small enough for a 20), Java Fern and moss will work well. Green hygro and ludwigia repens should grow ok in there.

For more, try ropica.com and search for low light plants. It will come up with more than I have recommended here, but a lot aren't very common.

I will have to agree with previous reply. Anubias will grow extremly well in low light but it does like feeding and plenty of water movement. Java fern is another excellent choice. Remember these plants "must" be tied to either natural DW or a rough rock I use 15lb nylon fishing line and works perfectly and never a problem. One of the taller Java Ferns has a serated top this can be cut of and tied to DW and makes an excellent low under 3ins foreground plant. I am using this in my Betta tank.

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info
