The one in the middle looks like a val of some sort....Not sure on the others...sure someone else will though.

You are planning on removing them from the pots right ? Gently pull them from the plastic pot, and carefully pull the rockwool from the root bundle. Then if the roots are tangled gently pull them apart a bit to help unbind them and place in substrate. If there's more than one plant in a pot they should be divided and planted close but seperatly.

Sorry to tell you this but none of the 3 plants look like aquatic plants, leaves are to rigid. They are more like terrarium plants, they will live for a while submerged, but soon will start to rot, you can keep them, just pay close attention to them and when they start turning a little yellow, take them out, smell the roots, if you regret doing that because of the smell, it's time to toss them to the garbage.

Robby,

It is difficult to recognize the plants. Could you possibly post individual pictures? Since they are potted, you may want to take the plants out of your aquarium to photograph them.

How many watts of light wil;l you have on the tank? What are the dimensions of the tank? What will you be using for substrate? Let us know the answers and we can help you with plant recommendations!
