However, this depends upon a relatively large number of plants to control that. If you have "just a few" then your current reading is probably fine, and maybe no more than 5. If the tank needs nitrate, you can purchase some "Stump Remover" and add it (a very little at a time) allow it several hours to mix and then retest, and so on. Be sure to purchase basic stump remover, with no additives it will be almost pure KHNO3. GRANT'S is one of many brands that is available in darnd near any plant section of any hardware store.
