I'm preparing to make a large plant order and have checked out numerous online plant suppliers and they all promise to have the best and most healthiest plants available, which is typical for any supplier.

What are your experiences and recommendations? Thanks.

Jim,

Hi there, we haven't chattted with each other in a while .

This is my online supplier for plants, at least most of the time. I usually select from their website and might follow up with a call to see if all the plants are there. Only then do I place my order. Not always are all plants great, but most of the time they are pretty good.

Hope this helps a little,

Ingo

I've always ordered from Aquatic Plant Depot. They have a good selection, no minimum order required, shipping is a $10 flat rate, and I've always been happy with the plants.

The only complaint I have is that out of stocks aren't advised of ahead of time, but I never thought to do a follow-up phone call either

Hi,
I like to use Arizona Gardens.
If you go to their website and read the instructions for
new purchasers, and follow the instructions, you will
have a really great experience.

When I call, I call during their off time, the time when
they are not rushing to fill shipping orders, and they will
talk with you about your tank, lighting, and so on, and
make suggestions.

Before you call, you should have some idea of the "look"
that you want to achieve and you should know your lighting,
pH, KH,GH, and if you are or are going to inject CO2.
Then call and chat with them.

Thanks to each of you for your inputs. It sounds like any one of the three would probably be a good choice. I'll get my plant listing finalized and then I think I'll call each and see if they are able to fill it.

With any luck maybe I'll hit the jackpot and get what I want from one supplier.

Thanks again.
