Possibly normal postage I will post the cost when they arrive and give a report about the plants and the service.

Yes that was Aquaria Australia Warehouse I was refering to that is why I ordered elsewhere.

The problem plants were held up by their slow delivery system over one week to arrive. The 6 Swords actually melted, all other plants OK.

Today the new shipment of Swords arrived next day after it left them. This time it came by next day deliver post not a carrier. No charge for plants or delivery.

I can order plants from a local pet/lfs shop and they arrive next day from interstate and always in perfect condition. They could not get some of the plants I was looking for.

Keith - was that at Aquaria Australia Warehouse? That's no good. I have placed 3 orders now with no troubles. What was wrong with your plants when you received them?

I admit I did try to contact them first. I was not happy with their reply which was send the order and we will contact you do not contact us.

I managed to get their phone number via a phone number search but I never contact them.

Still waiting for my replacement plants should be here this week.

I just ordered an Anubias Barteri and some other products from aquaria [Aquaria Australia Warehouse] and again cannot say enough about their service -- 1st class.

Ordered Monday morning and arrived Tuesday morning. I have also noticed that they have alot of products out of stock at the moment - must be busy.

Keith,

When I ordered my plant pack from Aquamail, the lady told me that they only ship live plants via overnight delivery ($9). I wonder why they ship yours the long way.

Cheers.

Good and bad news

The plants arrived seven days from Aquamail after they left their dispatch. The delivery was a complete mess, the box was broken. Plants all packed individually per species no problem there.

The six Swords which I chased Aust to locate were practically wasted away. It looked like the box had been in a heated area.

On contacting Aquamail they will be replacing all the Swords and this time sending them via overnight next day delivery.

The fault was totally on the carrier not Aquamail they admitted it does happen but very rare.

If I ever buy plants again I would make sure they are delivered express over night this might cost a litle extra but well worth it

I will keep you informed as to what happens as to the replacements

Keith

upikabu -- you are not wrong about not calling you back... Terrible customer service and hence why I took my business elsewhere. Plants wrapped in newspaper - not a very good way to ship plants surely???

At least they arrived.

I just ordered the $29 plant package deal from Aquamail. Called them Tuesday afternoon, shipped yesterday, arrived today. The plants are mostly in good condition (the narrow chain swords were a bit scraggly-looking) - they came wrapped in newspaper with a tiny bit of water. Overall a good deal, I'd say. Oh btw, if you ring them and they told you they'll call you back, call them back instead. They did this to me the first time and never called back.

ETA: Next-day shipping cost $9 (they only use next-day service for plants).

Well, I requested for an updated plant catalogue from them a few days ago and still no reply. The bad thing is the minimum order in plants is $20! But I only want to order 1 plant...guess I wont be ordering from them...

I finally ordered through Aqumail. I prefer to speak direct they were extremly helpful. I will add more to this when the plants arrive (they are waiting on a delivery themselves) in about 1-2 weeks time.

Mango -- let us know how you go with aquamail, I cancelled my order with them, as I did not find the customer service very good... They seem friendly enough, just seem to have no idea about where or what happened with my order???

Keith,

Aquaria Aus Warehouse are good too, I recommended them cause Ive recently ordered some plants from them and all came in nicely! Very cheap too IMO. Im going to order a few pots of Glossostigma from aquamail myself. I'll see how they go.
