I gather that it’s fairly new, and is geared towards being a planted substrate. This stuff looks very appealing, I may actually consider buying some. We got a bag shipped to my workplace on accident yesterday, and I offered to take it home until the owner told me that he would send it back in exchange for the Flourite that was originally supposed to come. I really like the look of this stuff, and though it does slightly buffer water I could still feasibly use it in my upcoming tank. It’s too bad I’m not going all-out on plants. Anyways, comments on Seachem Onyx? http://www.seachem.com/products/product_pages/Onyx%20Sand.html It does come in a gravel form as well. Last edited by sirbooks at 12-Jan-2006 10:58 |

The lfs had the gravel also and the granular size was not excessive... __________ "To steal ideas from one person is plagiarism; to steal from many is research." researched from Steven Wright |
