CrimsonaX Hobbyist Posts: 130 Kudos: 57 Registered: 30-May-2007 | My tank is a small 7gal, and so far I have one Anubias, One Java fern with daughters growing, and 2 small ambulia clusters I trim and grow, Was just wondering if there are any other broad leaved plants like the anubias I could add to my tank. I want to plant it up some more and make nice natural hiding spots if I do, and anyway just to decorate, decide on getting a kuhli loach or maybe ottos? (May have typo'd that name) For the wattage I have a 15watt light, and are there any limits on how many plants my tank should have? Far as space I have plenty as I am removing my artifical plants and decorations for more natural ones =) |

Remembering that these plants can get pretty huge but that is dependent on the growing conditions. http://www.plantgeek.net/plantguide_list.php?category=4&filter_by=2 http://www.plantgeek.net/plantguide_list.php?category=4&filter_by=42 Just to give you an idea of how large these things can get. Anubias Nanna can grow into large clumps. I am using serrated Java fern I am also using the new top growths tied to DW. This plant can be hard to locate and also can be expensive. I have a twin 18ins unit one plant and one daylight tubes Here is a photo of my betta tank with the Anubias nana and the serrated Java fern The gap in the photo I am looking for Anubias Nana "petite" it is a very small variety but is prooving hard to locate in Aust. I also have Crypt Nevilii this is reasonably easy to grow and it is also a small plant. Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info Look here for my Betta 11Gal Desktop & Placidity 5ft Community Tank Photos Keith Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do.
