![]() | SERA plant care set |
loulou![]() Hobbyist Posts: 81 Kudos: 74 Votes: 0 Registered: 05-Nov-2005 ![]() ![]() | ok i purchased one of these sets for my sml 40litre tank. included in it is as follows CO2 diffusion reactor Sera CO2 Tabs plus Sera Florena Sera Florenette A Sera Floreplus Ok so thats 3 types of plant ferts, liquid being the Florena, tablet fert being the Florenette A (thats the ones you push into substrate) and lastly the Floreplus which is also tablets which you push into substrate OR it says you can just drop them into tank after lights off. So after doing my water change in my lrg tank i added recomended dose of Florena liquid. But now im unsure whether or not i would overdose my tank with too much Ferts by also adding the other tablets as per recomended dose? i understand that my Cobomba takes in ferts mostly through it leaves so im right using the Florena, i also have plants requiring tablets as they mostly take in ferts through there roots so that would be the Florenette A tabs and as for the Floreplus tabs, there ment to provide a boost for your plants and complement the use of the other 2 ferts above. So my question is if i use all three ferts do i still use the dosage it says or do i have to reduce the dose when combining the three?? Does anyone here use these Ferts and can let me in on what you dose? |

It would also help if you could provide the ammount of CO2 in the water by checking both the pH and KH. Also the amount in watts of light over your tank would help too. If you are going to dose all that and not have algae issues, you will have to have good levels of all nutrients (light, CO2, macros, and micros).
