I just recently bought plants for my tank and noticed that they were in a pot. i was wondering if it would be okay to take the plants out of the pot due to the face that the pots take up way too much space.

Thanks

Yes, it is safe to take them out of the pots, and it's actually what you're meant to do. Remove the media they grow in gently so you don't upset the roots too much, trim dead roots if you see any, and just plant it. Some plants might take more time than others to recover from this gentle operation, but all plants will eventually grow.

Cheers.

Certainly take them out of the pots, some of the growing medium can cause problems if not all removed. I had to remove a lot potted plants recently I got it all out using a tooth pick.

It's better to take the Plants out of the Pots. Their roots will be crushed in the Pots & whey wouldn't grow much.
