For 274(and counting) days my planted tank has been a work in progress. However, I feel that I'm somewhat satisfied with my tank, minus a few minor adjustments here and there. I was thinking about ending my [link=log]http://www.fishprofiles.com/files/forums/Planted%20Aquaria/52902_4.html?07344934" style="COLOR: #FFD700[/link] because of the above reason and a lack of interest (probably due to a lack of change).

Current pic of the tank:

I'll leave it up to the planted aquarium forum as to what I do. If you vote for a major rehaul, please give some suggestions .

Basically I would not say minor changes I would prefer to say constant upkeep and the tanks appearance will change its self.

I also have a 5ft community planted tank Placidity.

minor changes.

It needs to fill out more

For animals, the entire universe has been neatly divided into things to (a) mate with, (b) eat, (c) run away from, and (d) rocks. - Terry Pratchett

I would say you should keep the log and perform minor changes (vote), but you could also do a major change and create one of the classic layouts that generate some depth in the tank (open area to the back, triangular layout, etc.).

I would like to use this chance to mention that I think FP is at a loss if logs disappear into the post nirvana. I would say logs (if the admins and mods consider them worthy) should become a permanent entity that can be viewed by generations of new fish friends. Maybe I should create a Poll about that.

Keep it going Matty,

Ingo

Use a plain backround to cover the stuff you can see in the back.

20 Gallon Long:
Aquaclear 300
2 Bolivian Rams, Mikrogeophagus altispinosus: Gumby and Pokey

There is a background I think you see my filter and heater. But thanks for the input

Well I still haven't decided whether or not to keep it going. Maybe I'll update every now and again (read months).
