Okay, I've been planning to upsize my reef tank to the 20 gallon that my crawdad is in(obviously after moving him out ) but the idea struck me that I have also been working at getting plants for my 29 gallon planted tank. BUT for that I was going to use a 65 watt pc(already have) and excel. If I put my planted tank into the 20 instead of the 29 gallon, would I have to up it to pressurized co2, or would the excel/dry ferts still be enough?

Hi,
If you use Excel then you will be giving the plants the
carbon that they will need with the increased light.
Keep an eye on your plants, some here have reported that
their plants did not tollerate Excel and shifted over to
the CO2 gas instead.
