Not long ago i decided to plant my tank with wisteria and ambula . They are growing well and i was just wondering if it is safe just to chop them anywhere or if there is a 'specific' way to trim?
also they are grown alot of root like bits from the stems is it safe just to chop these off as there are alot of them and they are getting tangled.

Thanks!

The root like bits are possibly a fine root system this will enable the plant to get its food from the water rather than the substrate.

As far as triming most healthy plants can take it very well and show after effects.

No I would not trim them off if they are the "arial" roots. It could effect the growth of the plant.
