The spectrum just isn't right for plants, use daylight (6700k) bulbs for best plant growth.

is it still good??? for plants??? i have a 60 gal with 23.5 in height.

Usually,

People buy the fixture and then replace the Actinic lights as they are not good on a freshwater tank.

What plants do you want to grow? Do you inject CO2? Do you fertilize your plants?

Hi,
Good luck with the "Lace" plant. It is considered by
many to be a very difficult plant to care for. It is
demanding, and delicate. And it is very susceptable to
being choked out by algae.

IMO, if u are using a JEBO fixture i would make sure, you or your mother have good house insurance, jk. But there was a thread about this a couple times JEBO is lower end IMO, kinda cheap, as everyone stated to me b4 ur basically putting ur house in jeopardy by buying a cheap ballast and it isnt worth losing a house due to a bad ballast, i say spend the extra money and by a coralife i did and trust me you will be happy

I agree with Donkynutz, although I haven't heard about a house fire yet .

The Coralife are very reliable (at least mine are) and, as a general statement, a good investment will eventually pay off.

I'm fairly content with my jebo fixtures but if I had the money I'd definitely go with something of higher quality. Jebo does tend to use cheap materials to make cheap products. Their products will do the job but have a higher chance of breaking down or causing problems than a better quality and more expensive product.
