I have seen syngoniums submersed before. She was thinking of using a rhododendron but I have advised her not to do it. Can anyone give me some advice to pass on. It doesn't hurt of course to experiment and cuttings are free. Bamboo lasts awhile as does a few others.. I found 'Baby Tears' at my parents home in a pot by the window. There's an aquatic by the same name and appearance. Some will find their way into my soon coming emmersed crypt/moss setup, then once it's used to the more humid environment, a piece will 'fall' into my tank. ![]() Some people have bog plants growing in their filters ! If you cannot convence her let he do it her way she will find out the hard way the plants will die and so could many of the fish.
