First I think it would be a good idea to give us some info on the tank size you have or intend to get. It is no use listing fish that are too big for your tank. Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info Look here for my Betta 11Gal Desktop & Placidity 5ft Community Tank Photos Keith ![]() ![]() Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do. I VOTE DO YOU if not WHY NOT? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

The clown loach will get too big though, so I'd skip that until you get around a 75g tank. They are the only ones on the list that I have heard of eating plants, but not many people have a problem with them. Tetras, cories, swordtails and mollies should be fine with plants. The only fish I am sure eat plants are silver dollars, but they get too large for your size tank IMO. |

They have been recently photographed eating plants. I am possivitive they are also eating the new tips of my small Anubias. Before you select ant plants it would be a good idea to give us a list of what you can get or prefer as many plants have special requirements or can be very difficult to grow. Particularly new growth on swords and anubias. What kind of lighting will you be having - e.g. type of tube and number of watts? That will determine the types of plants you will have success with. ![]() |
