I have tried it before and they all wilted away, if thats what you call it. The leaves turned clear and the plants died. I looked up the books for plants on this site and don't know which of the ones listed would be better for me. I have 2 10 gallons and 1 29 gallon tanks, all are freshwater. I have no idea what I need or how to keep plants in tanks. Thanks for any tips! |

It doesn't go into the taxonomic details of other books but I wasn't looking for arcane data. I liked the straightforward prose and organization. The photographs are great. Use it in conjunction with http://www.tropica.com for greater detail on plants. You will love the book for ideas on how to set-up a planted tank. __________ "To steal ideas from one person is plagiarism; to steal from many is research." researched from Steven Wright |
