 | cleaning tank with new plants |
reel big mark Hobbyist Posts: 131 Kudos: 112 Registered: 29-Jun-2005   | ok, so i have some bacopas that i havent had for more than a week or so and its time to give my gravel a good vacum, but my plants havent rooted yet so the will float around a little if the gravel gets moved, whats the best way to vac the gravel, shld i put the plants into a bucket of water while i vac or what, thanks in advance its me sk8freak20...i need to get premie so i can change my name back |

If you are using a Python or a vacuum with a larger barrel, you can wave the vacuum barrel over the gravel to loosen up the mulm and waste to get it water borne.
