so i made a DIY co2 with two 2 litre soda bottles, (in each) 2 cups sugar, 1 tsp yeast, and warm water to almost the top (about an inch above the soda label) i used this exact setup... http://fish.orbust.net/carbondioxide.html
So ive had it set up for 2 days now and still no bubbles comming out of the hose line. the strange thing is, i can actually see the tiny bubbles quickly comming to the top of the soda bottles. dos it usually take this long, could i have a leak somewhere, and how would i know? im so frustrated!

Hi,
First, next time you do this don't fill the bottle
so far, the bursting bubbles will create a foam
and/or splatter on the sides and very possibly into
the the delivery line. Trust me, you do not want
this stuff getting loose in the aquarium.

The bursting bubbles indicate that CO2 is being produced.
The lack of bubbles in the tank indicate a leak.
To find it, mix some liquid soap detergent with
water and then spray it onto the fittings.
The leaking gas will cause the soapy liquid to bubble
as it escapes.

Generally speaking, the weak point is the fitting
at the top of the bottle.

if your mixture is too warm when you make it you might kill your yeast. but since you say you're seeing bubbles then your yeast is probably fine, you just need to find where your leak is. i would reseal the cap and make sure you have it screwed on tight (but not too tight )
