We just moved and I have my plants just floating in the tanks they'll eventually be planted in. How long can I leave them unplanted without problems?

Pretty basic plants: Amazon swords, crypts, anubias, dwarf sags, temples, etc.

Ptobably a couple days. Ive had plants uprooted before my vacation that i forgot to plant and had them do fine. I would leave them like that for too long though may 4-7days.

With anubias there are no problems if you just let them float, but swords and sags. do feed from their roots and the substrate so they will start loosing leaves in about 3 or 4 days of being uprooted.

Certainly no problems with the Anubias, I have been floating some crypts for two weeks now and they are looking better than when they were planted.
