I have Java fern growing in tanks with no lights at all, however I think Java moss will harder for you to grow. Growing them on driftwood is a good idea because your fish, particularly your green severum might mess around with them if they were left in the gravel. |

It can also be rooted onto rocks. .5wpg is rather low, even for java fern. I'd suggest trying to increase your wpg, a quick trip to your local DIY store should give you a few options for doing it cheaply. Just make sure you get daylight bulbs. ^_^ ![]() |
