I have a 10 gallon with what i believe to be a 15 watt bulb although i am not possitive on the wattage I do have some flourite...what low light plants could be grown in a 10 gallon i really do need some suggestions. I plan to have a breeding pair of rams and a small school of 6 neons or cardinals. Since i will be overstocking a little i want to plant it well enough.

Low light plants and small which is also importanto so they don't over run your tank may be:

-Java Fern
-Java Fern "Windelov" (which IMO is far more intresting than regular java fern)
-Java Moss
-Anubias Bateri var. Nana or var. Nana Petit
-Anubia Coffeefolia (just one, it might get to big for a 10G)
-Cryptocoryne wendtii ''brown'' or "green" (might grow very slow but it will grow)
-Echinodorus Parviflorus (one of the smallest Swords and low - medium light specimens)
-Hygrophila Corymbosa (will need regular pruning)
-Hygrophila Difformis (will need pruning but an excelent nitrate sucker, so highly recomentded for over stocked tanks)

Good Luck

You can add bacopa, bolbitis, ceratophyllum, cladophora, crimum, echinodorus, eleocharis and a host of other plants. You can find a great search engine at http://www.tropica.com. In the upper right hand corner of the home page, you will see an Advanced Search button. Press it and choose you plant parameters for low or very low light. The lists that are generated on the right hand side of the screen are interactive. Click the type of plant to get a picture, parameters and ease of cultivation. A great site!
