Ques one of my plants is covered in whitish slimy film and it's making my water cloudy would this harm my fish what is it?
I can't tell what kind of plant it is it's leaves are like a lily's but tiny in size and it has a bulb type form that's seperate like a bunch of bananas lol Sorry I can't be anymore specific.

My tank is a one gallon underground filter with a betta
Thank you
BL
PS. anyone know of a website where I could determine and diagnosis my plant? Thanks again

As we discussed in chat before you had to leave.

Sounds like a major polution problem. I would pull the tank down completly and wash every thing extremly well. With amount of substrate I would boil it. A photo certainly would help. What do you put and how much into that tank feeding etc.
The plant could be rotting and causing the problem or your filtration is just not working properly.

Have a look in [link=My Profile]http://

Bettalife,

If Keith and you were chatting before then I will assume that his advice is proper, so I don’t have to comment .

But about your plant ID: is it Nymphoides aquatica, aka banana plant? Some info about it can be found Here.

Hope this helps,

Ingo
