I have a twenty nine gallon tank and would like to know what plant is a good starter. i am sick of the fake plants and would like an easy plant to take care of.

Hi,
First, read the first series at the top of this forum.
"New to Plants, etc."

Then look at the plants that fall in your light category.
Then look at the description of the individual plants that
catch your eye, and are not too big for your tank.
Then choose from the ones that are maked "easy" care.
Then choose from them.

Once you have a list, you can purchase them from the
various online sites, (Arizona Gardens, Drsfostersmith,
Big Als, etc.) You can also purchase "easy care" packages
from these sites as well.

anubias and java ferns are suited for almost any tank. These are pretty easy plants.
