i just up in new swords at the back of my tank being a very tall broad leafed plant as they get tall will they block alot of the current caused by my filter?

the filter is right above where the swords are

They may block the current a bit but you should be ok. If you're really concerned you can just add a powerhead in the opposite end of the tank.

You must be going to have a very thick sword if it will block the current, or your filter has a very low output.

Can you move the filter? Also a small power head will give you water movement just make sure the water movement is towards the filter inlet.

im not too worried more a question for my education. cause the taller swords do seem to block the whisper 30 (150gph) but i havnt seen if they would be strong enough to block the emporer 280 (280gph) with full bio wheel its more for if i get angels. later on in that tank when i move the 29g into the 46
