Hi,
The best thing to do is look at your flourscent bulb(s)
and total the wattage. Then divide the wattage by the
capacity of the tank (nr of gallons). That will give
you the number of watts per gallon (wpg).

Low demand plants are considered about 1 wpg.
Medium demand is about 2 wpg.
and High demand plants are 3+wpg.

Next, go to a site where plants are sold or described
such as http://www.azgardens.com/ and
look at the various packages that are offered, such
as the "easy care" package. Write down the names of
the various plants that comprise the package, and
then look at the individual pictures of the plants.

Make your decisions based upon the size of the tank
(you don't want an amazon sword in a 10G!) the ammount
of swimming room you want the fish to have, and mostly
the category of plants that your light falls in.
If you have "low light" available, Don't buy anything
in the medium and high categories as they will quickly
wilt and die.
Also, read the top thread with the pin in it on this
forum.
Hope this helps...
Frank
