Would a Penguin 125 Bio-Wheel filter be ok for my 30gal nano?
I currently have to powerheads but think a bio-wheel in the middle back. I could run carbon and it says it removes Ammonia, and Nitrite on contact. If your not fimiliar there is a bio-wheel that spins when the water exits the filter into the tank.

You really do not want to run a bio wheel on a reef tank. The live rock will provide the same filteration as the bio wheel. The HOB filter is OK, just remove teh bio wheel.

exactly, it will act as a nitrate factory, most reef keepers don't use that, a skimmer and LR, one power filter to run chemical when needed is good. check out www.reefcentral.com
