PJS Small Fry Posts: 12 Kudos: 7 Votes: 0 Registered: 26-Jan-2004 | I have had a 72 gallon FOWLR running very well for about 14 months. It has a wet/dry filter system, Protein skimmer, 2 power heads and 80 lbs of live rock. The lighting is a compact fluorescent Coral life 48" with 4 - 65 watts (dual daylight and dual actinic) and 4 lunar lights. The fish are: Fox Face Lo, Yellow Tang, Maroon Clown and a Coral beauty. Also have hermit crabs and turbo snails. I would like to add some mushrooms, but am not sure they could co-exist with these fish (especially the Fox Face). I would appreciate any advice. Also, can anyone tell me the easiest mushrooms to maintain, or any other coral that might work in this set up ? Thanks PJS |

There is a chance the faxface might nip at the mushrooms, it's really hard to say. Frilly mushrooms would be a good choice. They look very interesting, but can get rather large. I have one that is about 12" across. Dan |

If they dont like it there they will detatch and drift around the tank till they find a place they like.....I doubt they will do that though since they can/will adapt to different lighting. |
