Hey i want to get an anemoni for my clowns but i dont have matal halides and ive read that you can feed them 2-3 times a week to keep them alive and healthy is this true? if so where do I place the food?

But not all anenomes can survive like that.

The more light the better. Sebas do well, and clowns host with them easy, depending on the clown. Carpets need a lot of light, so stay away from them.

ANemones like Bubble Tips don;t require extremely high intensity lighting. WHat type of lighting do you have any what sort of anemone were you looking at?

i got a 22 watt actinic and a 24 watt compact fluro i was lookin at a bubble tip.

Unless that's over 10 gallons of water, you need to upgrade your lighting.

i have a purple tip anemone in my 10gal with 33watt 8000K compact flourescent.

It's in there for 3 months now and is doing well...but the colour has turn from bright white when i bought it to a lightish tan now.

If it's doing that it could be that it needs more light, or your water conditions are a bit low. Both can effect an anemone.
