hey, i think my largest hermit crab is eating my torch coral, he just sits up there all day and when he leaves its like half the coral is gone. He's pretty big, about 6cms and destroys my tank most of the time.

You should consider removing it then. The only hermits you should have is the small ones.

Take it out and kill it if need be. A $1 hermit isn't worth losing any corals for.

If you have a sump/refugium, you could place the hermit in there.
