Dark Lotus Fish Guru Posts: 2547 Registered: 19-Jun-2001 | Okay everyone, heres a pic with the lights on. When I orginally set this tank up I had no live rock at all. Needless to say, all of the rock that is in there is just place on top of each other. Luckily I haven't had any pieces topple over yet. Does anyone have any advice? It would be nice to glue them in place without taking the rock out. All of my rockwork is self supporting but i have used Tunze "coralfix" to join mushroom rock frags together, i did this in a bucket of freshly mixed SW and let me tell you i am glad i did... wouldnt trust that curing in the tank, ever. Worked a treat though. One way is to drill holes in the rock and put acrylic rods through them or cable ties, also using PVC pipes and egg crate can work well... theres man yways and ill see if i can find some good links, hopefuly others will explain better though I actually thought I had a work of chaos. Dont worry, i guarantee every single reefer on this planet has thought that at one stage, your tank is looking great and should be relatively smooth sailing from here on in -DL Cake > Pie |

Thanks for the applause, I actually thought I had a work of chaos. pmdaggett attached this image: |
