tiny mushrooms???? | |
bboyin4lyf Hobbyist Posts: 137 Kudos: 83 Votes: 0 Registered: 18-Apr-2004 | ive recently acquired a piece of liverock that had some bleached coral covering one side. about 2 weeks later now about 50 tiny brown circles that appear to be little mushroom have come out of the bleached coral. are these polyps? seperate mushrooms that have taken up resisdence on the dead coral ? any ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanks |

bboyin4lyf Hobbyist Posts: 137 Kudos: 83 Votes: 0 Registered: 18-Apr-2004 | the thing is ive got terrible lighting, 4 * 50 w no fluros so i doubt the coral would be making a comeback. or am i under estimating a corals hardiness? its a white coral "bleached" that has small openings and it hugs tightly to the liverock with no extremeities. could this be a brain? thanks |
