Brineshrimp mentioned as part of the diet may be useful as the brackish water may keep offered brineshrimp alive for longer, thus making feeding this usually exclusive live feeder easier. Nicely acclimated specimens have been known to take dead shrimp pieces and lobster and fish roe. The listed temps might be a little warm, 79 f or less might be safer. Worth mentioning too, that it is a known fin nipper. Behaviour should be listed as timid when full group numbers are not reached, and aggressive to feisty when group numbers are reached. Therefore it should also be mentioned that it is not a good community fish. I'll approve on the basis that the profile can be worked on to add greater detail later. ba |
